Flower Delivery - Birtinya, QLD | Your Local Florist

The suburb of Birtinya is located in Queensland, in what�s known as the Sunshine Coast region of the state. Around nine kilometres north of the well-known Sunshine Coast suburb known as Caloundra, and 12 kilometres south-southeast of the popular tourist suburb called Maroochydore, Birtinya is bordered by the nearby suburbs of Warana, Meridan Plains, Currimundi, Wurtulla and Bokarina.

Residing around Lake Kawana, Birtinya is a largely residential suburb which features an array of facilities for locals. The recently opened Viridian Park offers a peaceful, green space in which locals are able to have a family fun day outdoors. Located within the park are a number of sporting facilities and other amenities. These include a half court which may be adopted for basketball or netball in addition to other sports, and a walking track which overlooks the idyllic water.

A walking track also runs its way through the park, which is commonly used by walkers looking for peace and quiet, mothers and fathers trying to put their babies to sleep in their prams, and joggers looking to boost their fitness levels. The barbecues available in the area make the park perfect for picnics and informal celebrations.

Located in nearby Bokarina, the Kawana Aquatic Centre located in the Kawana Sports Precinct allows residents further opportunity to get active. Swimmers of all ages are catered to at the centre, whether they�re just learning to keep afloat, enjoy lap swimming for recreation, or are training to become elite athletes.

The Sunshine Coast�s largest aquatic centre, the Kawana Aquatic Centre boasts an array of features which never fail to impress users. There are six pools within the complex in total, which have all been designed with a variety of purposes in mind. One of these is an Olympic pool which features ten lanes spanning 50 metres, and is heated. There is also a six-lane pool which runs for 25 metres, and a 15-metre pool which comes complete with two dive boards and an underwater viewing section. Both of these pools are heated for the convenience of users.

Also within the premises is a pool designed for those learning to swim. It is heated, extends across 17 metres, and offers an access lift. A ten-metre therapy pool, which is also heated, is constantly used by those engaging in various types of therapy, in addition a fully-fenced leisure pool which is enjoyed by all ages.

We can deliver to most hospitals in and around Birtinya. We will endeavour to have your hospital flowers delivered but some hospitals have strict policies about flower and gift basket deliveries. Check with the hospital before sending flowers to ensure they can be delivered. Many patients recovering from surgery, seriously ill or in ICU cannot receive flowers and gifts. Alternatively, we can arrange for delivery to the recipients home when they are discharged from hospital.
